Description inside property: "La Cerise" was built as a milking parlour and hayloft and a covered woodshed for the old farmhouse of "La Rafoulais" circa 1744 but in 2003 your hosts John and Ann started the hard work and had taken too task converting this superbly appointed cottage into a 2, bedroom holiday cottage with outdoor heated plunge pool.
Here we will give you the tour of our property, As you park in our private walled child friendly landscaped gardens with gravel drive you cross over one of your private patio areas into "La Cerise" here you will find the fully equipped utility room with washing machine and dishwasher.
Then into the high oak beamed kitchen area that has all you need for holidays and then you enter the salon which is very large and has an inglenook fire place with a large woodburner, large patio doors overlooking the fantastic Breton countryside, this room as in all the rooms in "La Cerise" is oak beamed that gives that country cottage feel, this room has english television, dvd player, video, hi-fi, books, and a large selection of films to choose from, there is a large dining table that seats six.
Upstairs you will find the bathroom / toilet, large landing area and two bedrooms both with views of the countryside and pool area.

Description outside property: Covered terrace where on a sunday evening its a friendly wine tasting evening with your host John, So once the children are in bed after an hetic day why not relax in good company and have one or two superb reds & white wines from our cellar.
Our beautiful mature gardens are a joy and overlook the surrounding countryside and the cows lean over our fences to say hello.

Notes: "Les Ormes" In the heart of a 370 acre estate, Les Ormes golf course is set in wooded parkland, amongst age-old trees and natural lakes. This is a challenging course, but is nevertheless suitable for all players whatever their handicap thanks to its staggered tees. The clubhouse is located in the castle's 18th century outbuildings.
Another superb local golf course can be found close to the old pirate town of St Malo, named "Le Tronchet" offering either a 9, or 18, hole course, Your host John is a very keen golfer and is available if you require a partner.
