Description of facilities: This is a brand new apartment and is suitable for children. As well as the 2 pools there are 2 paddle tennis courts, a childrens play area and a barbequ area within the complex. Allocated secure car parking underneath the apartment is accessed by electric gates and serviced by a lift. Parking for golf buggies. Car hire and taxis are available in the port. The accommodation is fully air-conditioned (hot/cold). We have an agent (English and Spanish spoken) based locally to assist with any difficulties, which may arise. Our agent will also see you into and out of the apartment. Smoking within the apartment is forbidden and regretfully no animals or pets are allowed.
Description inside property: This is a tastefully furnished and spacious apartment. The living and dining area includes dining table and 4 chairs, large sofa and arm chair, sideboard, coffee table and lamp, radio/CD player, TV with DVD player and Sky Satellite (UK freeview + channels). The patio/balcony, facing south and overlooking the Mediterranean sea, is ideal for alfresco dining and is furnished with a wrought iron table and 4 chairs plus 2 sun loungers. All linen and towels are included (Beach/Pool towels are not provided).
The master bedroom has a double bed, bedside tables, lamps, chest of drawers, built-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with, a bath with inbuilt Jacuzzi, and shower over, bidet and toilet. The second bedroom is slightly smaller with twin beds, chest of drawers, and built-in wardrobes. There is a separate shower and toilet. Both are marble tiled throughout.
The kitchen is fully equipped, with hob, extractor, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, and microwave. A separate utility room has a washing machine, vacuum cleaner, clothes dryer, ironing board and iron.
Cleaning/linen change can be provided weekly for stays longer than 1 week at an extra charge.

Description of local area and activities: Duquesa is situated between Estepona and Sotogrande on the Costa del Sol and offers everything you could wish for right on your doorstep. La Duquesa's charm centres on its unspoilt authentic local character, which is achieved through limited and well-managed development. The port of La Duquesa offers full marina services for boating enthusiasts and the attractive promenades encircling the port offer a variety of restaurants, intimate bars and cafés in which to while away the days. Sabinillas is just a couple of minutes away by car and also the town of Manilva, which is well known for its vineyard, and the fine wines it produces. The pretty white village of Casares is a just a short drive away, taking you back in time. Duquesa is often called ‘Little Puerto Banus’ and offers the perfect alternative to this well-known port. Journey time by car to Duquesa is approximately one hour from Malaga Airport and twenty minutes from Gibraltar Airport. This second floor luxury apartment is situated in a private quality development, close to the bustling picturesque marina of Port de la Duquesa with its many bars and restaurants and just a 10-minute stroll from a beautiful sandy beach. Elevated above the coastline this exclusive residential complex boasts fantastic views across the sparkling Mediterranean to Gibraltar and the mountains of North Africa. Notes: There are around 50 courses along the Costa del Sol coastline. Many are hilly, some requiring a buggy, however, there are a good number of fairly flat parkland courses. Those at this end of the Costa del Golf tend to be less crowded and better value than those nearer to Marbella. The very attractive La Duquesa Golf Course, set amongst the vineyards of Manilva, is 5 minutes by car, enjoying spectacular views over the Mediterranean, the Rock of Gibraltar and North Africa. This Robert Trent Jones design course is not for the faint at heart, demanding complete concentration at all times, straight drives and iron nerve putting. The last nine holes are played on an incline. The surrounding area boasts some of the best courses in Europe, Valderama is only 15 minutes away, as is Aloha, Los Naranjos, La Quinta and Las Brisas. Other top class courses include Sotogrande, San Rogue, Real Club du Golf and La Canada. 10 minutes away is the Estepona golf club |

Changeover day is flexible. If your holiday is back to back with another then the apartment will be available from 4pm and the apartment must be vacated by 10.30am on the day of departure.
