Description inside property: "Allouette" was in her previous life the stable for the old farmhouse named "La Rafoulais" now after renovation she has a very large 1, attic style bedroom (please note steep stairs in this property not suitable for elderly or infirm persons) in the bedroom there is a double bed and room for up to two cots.
As you enter "Allouette" you will find a large open plan salon/kitchen filled with tv, dvd player, english television, DVDs books & hi-fi. The kitchen area has an oven, gas hob, kettle, toaster, about every thing you need for an comfortable stay. Throughout "Allouette" you will see light and airy exposed oak beams and a great view of the countryside through the large patio doors, There is a toilet / shower room and wash basin.
Outside you have secure off road parking in your own private garden with picnic table with parasol, also a BBQ in your front garden, The shared heated pool is a plunge pool and is great for mixing & making new friends. Sunday evening here at "La Rafoulais" is winetasting evening so once the children are tucked up in bed after an exciting day out either at the beach or just sightseeing what better way to unwind than holding a superb glass of red or wine in your hand.

Notes: Les Ormes is just 30 minute drive away! Les Ormes golf course is a superb place for relaxation. The course is set in wooded parkland amongst age-old trees and natural lakes. This is a challening course, but is nevertheless suitable for all players whatever their handicap thanks to its stagged tees. The clubhouse is located in the castle's 18th century outbuildings.
Another superb local course is St Malo either 9 hole or 18 courses available and John your host is a keen golfer and is available to partner you if wanted. |
