Description inside property: Situated in the pretty town of Güejar Sierra within a stone's throw of a variety of interesting local bars and restaurants (many of which open up pools for customers in the summer), these apartments are perfectly situated. Historic Granada with the famous Alhambra Palace is only 20 minutes away, and the Sierra Nevada ski resort 25 - 35 minutes (to be reduced to 20 minutes with the completion of a new link road in 2007). Stunning walks & countryside activities (fishing, birdwatching, climbing, canoeing, canyoning, cross country skiing paragliding etc) all begin literally on the doorstep. The fascinating troglodyte region around Guadix is close at hand and the beaches of the Costa Tropical can be reached within 45 minutes.
We have two beautiful, spacious apartments available - El Grande has 3 bedrooms (sleeping 6) with a huge south facing terrace overlooking the rugged Sierra Nevada mountain range. Both apartments also have balconies, stunning views from bedrooms and living rooms, and enjoy luxuries such as air-conditioning in summer, central heating in winter and dedicated parking (included in the price). As these apartments are adjacent to each other they are also ideal for larger parties.

ABOUT SIERRA NEVADA SKIING
Pradollano (the name of the ski village) is a superb resort with facilities for all of the family. There are limited runs for the advanced skier, but plenty for beginners, children and intermediates. There is even a moving carpet, especially good for small children. There is a host of good value restaurants. There are numerous shops where you can hire ski gear, as well as book pirvate lessons, as well as join ski school. There is also a children's creche where you can place children 6 months to 5 years.
Most people drive to the resort, where there is two large car parks. The first is underground the mountains, so you take the lift up to the middle of the resort from here. This is approx 15 euros per day.
There is a further large car park, which is about 10 minutes walk from the resort and is approx 5 euros to park all day.
There is a bus that goes to the resort from the main bus station in Granada.
