Description inside property: The appartment is situated on the garden floor of a villa and decorated in Provencal style, white walls, comfortable sofas and a seperate equipped kitchen with interior & exterior eating areas. The private terrace and small have plenty of sunny and shady areas for sunbathing and outdoor dining. The sleeping area has a double bed and the lounge is comfortably furnished with sofa bed & additional sofa. The kitchen opens directly on to the terasse and garden.

Description of local area and activities: Grasse is an all-year destination offering a range of summer and winter activities.
Nearby you will find sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, kite surfing, wake boarding, diving, sea and fresh water fishing, mountain biking, mountaineering, paragliding, flying, canyoning, horse riding, golf, tennis, go-karting and skiing.
The less strenuous pursuits of shopping, breathing in the flavours of the local food markets or discovering the restaurants are more than easily accomodated and a day can be enjoyed simply by heading into the countryside for a leisurely picnique.
In June/July there is the jazz festival in Nice with the internationally renowned festival at Juan les Pins taking place shortly afterwards. The summer months also host the international fireworks competition where there are some truely spectactular displays to be seen.
From the port in Cannes you can take a boat trip to the Iles des Lerins, St Tropez, Monaco or Corsica. Or you could hire a boat or scuba dive, snorkel, generally just play in the sea.
The nearest ski resort is 50 mins away at Greolieres, picturesque Valberg is about 90 minutes away and with Isola less than 2 hours drive you are spoiled for choice.
There are other attractions in the area - the Monaco Grand Prix, the Cannes Film Festival and the Croisette, the Maght Foundation and the Picasso Museum to mention a few.
And its always worth considering driving or taking the train to Italy for the markets and to have lunch - because you can. |
