Description inside property: Apple Tree Cottage is one of Four cottages that have been restored to provide modern conveniences whilst retaining all the charm of a typical French farmhouse. Leaving in lots of the original features, like granite walls and exposed oak beams.
Apple Tree Cottage is a really romantic cottage full of character. It will sleep 4 comfortably if the sofabed is used. The comfortable lounge has an arched granite door and windows, exposed oak beams and huge granite inglenook fireplace with a log burner. The well equipped kitchen has vaulted ceilings and double doors that leads to a private patio area, complete with garden furniture, sun canopy and BBQ. From there out to the shared gardens and pool area. On the 1st floor there is a large open plan bedroom with granite walls and exposed oak beams and en-suite shower room. The cottage is comfortable furnished and well equipped,a perfect place to unwind, either by the pool or under a tree with a good book and a glass of wine.
Description outside property: La Basse Rouerie is a traditional Breton farmhouse and Longere that dates back 600 years in parts. It has two and a half acres of gardens with open views over undulating farmland.
Each cottage has its own patio area with furniture, canopy and BBQ
The communal patio area has a brick BBQ, the ideal place for parents to get to know one another, while the kids play. We have had many an enjoyable evening with a BBQ and a few drinks.
The heated above ground pool is made of teak to fit in with the surroundings in the orchard. The pool is open from May - September.
The gardens are the ideal place to either relax by the pool, have a picnic under a tree, or just sit and read a good book while sipping a glass a wine.

Still entirely surrounded by its ramparts, it has belfries, churches, convents, timbered houses and narrow streets disclosing their secrets as you go along.
