Description inside property: Our holiday home is situated halfway between the Mediterranean Sea and 5-6 Pyrenean Ski resorts. All this and a lot more can be reached within 30-50 minutes. Believe me you will love the view - we bought the house for it! The house contains six rooms on two floors, 135 square meters. It will comfortably accommodate a family of 8-10 people ( maximum 13) or 2 smaller ones. But it’s also perfect for 3-4 couples travelling together, and is cosy enough for just two. Our rental house is located in a cul-de-sac, up the hill and is quiet. A separate entrance to each of 2 floors. The road from Perpignan is lined with apple, peach and apricot orchards that start blossoming in March - that's a view! The town centre, a 10-minute stroll, has a lot of restaurants - well worth visiting - and all the necessary shops, banks and ATMs, 2 very good supermarkets and one organic supermarket, selling a huge variety of whole foods and local organic wine. There is a large municipal swimming pool and tennis courts in town.
Description outside property: Our garden is fenced and safe for children. And the view from the BBQ area is really unbelievable!

The main resorts are at Font Romeu - Pyrenees 2000 (40 pistes covering 52 km in total) and Les Angles (32 pistes covering 40 km in total). But you can also enjoy it at Col de Jau, the smallest skiing resort in Europe in 15 km from Prades (2 downhill ski pistes, cross-country ski, snowshoe walking).There are also ice skating facilities in Font Romeu. |
