Places of Interest

The Old Town. Ayamonte’s rich culture and heritage can be seen in the beautiful Baroque churches and whitewashed houses situated in the old town. These buildings are kept immaculate and decorated with an array of beautiful flowers. The old town is a true delight to stroll and browse around with its charming little narrow streets with ancient buildings, some of which date back to the 15 century.

Iglesia de San Salvador is a 15th century building with a remarkable tower, is worth a visit, especially for the stunning views across to Portugal.
