Description of local area and activities: St Antonin—is 10 minutes drive away. St Antonin is noted for having the oldest town hall in France and many other interesting buildings, often the favourites of local artists. There is an excellent market every Sunday, both for local produce and craft items. St Antonin has two small supermarkets, several bars and restaurants a variety of small shops. and a cinema which often shows English version films! St Antonin is also a centre for outdoor activities. Canoeing rock climbing, Horse riding and paragliding are all available nearby.

Further afield you can explore the historic towns of Albi, and Villefranche de Rouergue, the dramatic scenery of the Averyon Gorge, the Gaillac and Cahors vineyards, and the fortified hilltop villages, of Penne, Najac and Cordes-Sur-Ciel. (to name but a few) Throughout the summer many of the villages have their own Fêtes , fenaisons and entertainments including fireworks, night markets and music festivals.
