Description inside property: The large lounge has comfortable furnishings, heating and air conditioning as well as a corner fireplace. A large corner of the room has floor to ceiling glass doors giving direct access to the terrace and pool area. Full english satellite TV is available as well as Spanish channels and WIFI Internet access (payable locally at 10€ per week). As well as DVD and Digital box. There is a further portable TV with built in video as well as a portable music centre. The dining area is again spacious with large dining table comfortably seating 6 persons.The kitchen is well fitted with lots of cupboard space. It has all appliances such as Oven - Hob, Fridgefreezer, dishwasher and Microwave. There are doors lead directly to the covered terrace (Naya) making it ideally placed for serving food outside during the long hot evenings. The lovely master bedroom has lots of wardrobe space and access to a very large ensuite bathroom. Double doors from this room lead directly to the covered terrace (Naya) making access to the pool easy for the early morning swim. Bedroom 2 is located upstairs off a spacious hallway. Here there is a double bed and a single bed. The family shower room is located next door. Ther is another large room containing double bed and single bed. The family shower room is located next door. The en-suite bathroom is a very large room with shower over the bath, heated towel rail and built under vanity unit. The family shower room is large and has a 4 piece suite with shower cubicle. There is a separate cloakroom located on the ground floor. The Naya is lovely at any time of the year and has a 3 piece leather suite and dining area. There is hot and cold air conditioning in the main lounge. Most of the bedrooms have ceiling fans and lights fitted. There is also gas central heating to radiators. Lounge/Dining Area, Seating 6 persons. There is seating for 10 or more people at the outside terraces. Also for your enjoyment you will find a selection of books, games, childrens videos and DVD's. Description outside property: Through the electric gate you will find ample and secure parking for 3-4 cars. There is a large covered terrace area called a Naya which has a 3 piece leather suite and table and chairs for outdoor living during the summer months A portable TV and portable music centre are also available for your enjoyment. The large garden has many tropical palms and mature plants and offers plenty of space for sunbathing or cool areas for reading and relaxing. Located in the garden is a covered childrens area which offers a safe zone for the children to play. The roof ensures the area is cool and out of the sun and there is a picket fence and gate which ensures their safety. | Description of local area and activities: The nearest Airport is Alicante and just a short coastal drive using the AP7 motorway will bring you to the property. The Costa Blanca is renowned for its year round sunshine and low rainfall, fresh fish, hand picked oranges, figs, dates and vegetables. In the early spring the whole area is covered with the white or pink blossom from the Almond trees and the site and smell is incredible. Many fiestas held throughout the year can be enjoyed by all ages, these colourful spectacles can be found in most towns and include the Moors and Christians festivals with week long processions, battles and incredible firework displays. In June the celebration of Hogeras where huge statues are set on fire to celebrate the night of St Juan should not be missed and the province of Alicante is known for staging the best Hogeras festival. The cosmopolitan City of Alicante is just 45 minutes by car or can be reached via a coastal train ride and has a fantastic port area and the spectacularly tiled Esplanada, favoured in the afternoons by the locals who sit and watch the people pass by. The Santa Barbera castle is wonderfuly lit at night and is host to the many concerts and firework displays to mark celebtations throughout the year. A fabulous marina with yachts and visiting cruise ships and typically spanish tapas bars serving excellent local food. The resort of Albir just 10 minutes by car east of this property has a lovely beach and the beach town of Altea has a picturesque old town with white washed houses and a beautiful old church nestled amongst antique, craft and art shops. Just 10 minutes south is the lively resort of Benidorm with its wonerful beaches called Poniente and Levante, in Benidorm you will find something to do for all ages, all through the year. Nearby,is the town of Villajoyosa with its bright painted houses, painted this way it is said so that the fisherman can see there home when out at sea.Alfaz del Pi is a lively town with lots of restaurants, shops, café bars and supermarkets. Every Friday there is a local market where you can purchase locally grown fruit and vegetables as well as local crafts. Well placed for the N332 or Ap7 roads means that the other towns and villages are easily reached, there is also a regular bus service linking the towns. The theme parks of Terra Mitica, Aqualandia, Mundomar and Terra Natura are very close to this property as is the golf course Real de Faula or Don Cayo. Other golf courses are within easy reach in well under an hour. Inland are other great towns to enjoy as well as the mountains with waterfalls and rock climbing. La Nucia offers many shops and bars, restaurants and banks and is ideally placed to visit all of the other nearby resorts. Many coastal towns have fishing ports where the restaurants sell the fish caught that day. Mountaineering, horse riding, karting and many other activities can all be done locally. We are also able to organise any activity that you would like to try from balloon flights, helicopter rides, jeep safari, quad bike hire, jet skiing, nordik walking and paint ball .............. just tell us what you require and let us organise it for you |
