The complex comprises three completely independent properties set around a gravelled courtyard. Ideal for larger families or two familes who wish to holiday together but wish to have privacy and independance. There is a three acre field to explore and is ideal for children to play in. Lovely walks and stream a short walk away.
Local activities
We are 12km from the small rural town of St Yrieix la Perche on the Haute-Vienne/Dordogne border, not far from the prehistoric sites of the Perigord and the renowned valley of the Dordogne. Limoges is 45 mins. drive to the north and Perigueux 50 mins. to the south west. Ours is a region of trees, meadows and lakes, many of which have swimming beaches, supervised in the summer. Delightful and unspoilt rural France. St Yrieix is a picturesque medieval town of some 8000 inhabitants - this is the birthplace of the famous Limoges porcelaine. It is near the Parc Natural Perigord/Limousin. This area offers everything for all ages and all tastes. Cycle, or meander on foot, along the quiet country lanes or tracks through meadows and woods - there are many waymarked trails. There are local lakes with sandy beaches. Some have pedalos and/or waterslides and children's play areas. There are numerous Chateaux in the area.

18th Century farmhouse, situated in peaceful hamlet. 5km from nearest village of Ladignac le long, with bakers, butchers, small grocery store, chemist, bar/tabac. Lake with sandy beach for swimming/fishing/boats. Nearest town is St. Yrieix la perche which has fortnightly market, restaurants and bars and several supermarkets.
Jumhillac le Grand with it's Chateaux is 9km drive. Capital City Limoges is 45km drive (45 mins) with international airport (bellegarde) with daily flights from UK.

Bedroom No 2, Double bed & Single bed (ideal family room) overlooking pool area. Bedroom No 3. Two futon style beds ( these beds are suitable only for children as they are located on split level) with twin velux windows.
COTTAGE BEDROOM: 1 Large bedroom with double bed plus 1 double sofa bed. This room is suitable as a family room.
STUDIO: The original pig sty, now transformed into studio accomodation with twin beds.
All with Original beams overlooking courtyard and pool.
