Burgundy is a world famous French wine region producing some outstanding wines. For the wine connoisseurs this region is a second heaven. Activities
A fun way to see the countryside in a very relaxing manner is to boat along the large canal/waterway network on a barge. Other activities include golf, ballooning, hiking, horse riding, cycling, rock climbing and fishing.

Some of the main historical sites worth visiting include; Cluny, Europe’s largest Benedictine Abbey, the Palace of the Dukes in Dijon, 12th century St.Lazare Cathedral at Autun, and the Romanesque basilica at Paray-le-Monial.
