Description of facilities: In the peaceful hamlet of Le Petit Vioreau, Ça m'ira is a 250 year old, air-conditioned forest cottage, 100 yards from a large, tranquil fishing lake and literally a two minute drive from one of the finest inland swimming beaches in the area. It offers comfort, calm and relaxation for your holiday. The forest area is excellent for walking and cycling so we have provided local maps and itineraries, which are available for your use, and cycles can be hired locally. There is also golf, swimming pool, horse riding, water sports, bowling, cinema, theatre etc. to be found locally, with forest, lakes, wild life, velvet black skies, amazing stars and peacefulness included.
Description inside property: Our 250 year old, air-conditioned forest cottage has been tastefully furnished and decorated to a high standard. It has hardwood, double-glazed windows and doors, sympathetically and individually made to be in keeping with the age of the cottage. It is well insulated and with new electric heating and log burning stove it provides all year round comfort. For Autumn/ Winter bookings ready cut logs are available.
On the first floor, there is a light, spacious bedroom with the original oak flooring and exposed beams, it has both a double and a single bed, with wardrobe and ample storage space.
The tastefully decorated, modern shower room has a thermostatically controlled shower, WC and vanity unit with hand basin. A child's booster step and baby bath is also provided.
Looking out on to the garden, the comfortable second bedroom is on the ground floor and has two single beds, built-in wardrobe, antique pine chest of drawers and bedside storage.
The large but cosy living area is tastefully furnished with inviting sofas and bookcases, (with a selection of books, DVDs and videos) with satellite TV, VCR and DVD/CD players. There is additional storage in the antique pine chest of drawers and a selection of games (Monopoly, Scrabble, Petanque, cards and jigsaws etc.) for you to enjoy.
The dining area has a quality table and seating for up to six people and, although there is also a child’s booster seat, a high chair is provided.
The good-sized kitchen is well equipped with quality washing machine, fridge, microwave, electric in-built oven, gas hob, coffee maker and kettle. It has a wide range of cooking utensils, with cutlery and crockery for eight people. The kitchen overlooks both the garden (good for overseeing young children) and the vine-covered pergola.
The double-glazed conservatory provides extra seating and relaxing space and looks out to the pergola and garden. Quality bed linen is provided.
There is also an iron, ironing board, hair dryer, fitted stair gate and cot.
Description outside property: Outside, the patio provides both sun and shade with a suntrap area and a shady grapevine-covered pergola. We have provided a bench in the south facing, lockable garden and there is also a barbecue, large parasol, sun loungers, garden furniture and cushions

Description of local area and activities: The local villages of Joue sur Erdre and La Meilleraye de Bretagne are a few minutes drive away and in both villages you will find the village church, bars, restaurants, post office, a small supermarket, baker and butcher etc.
The medieval market town of Chateaubriant has an extensive range of shops, supermarkets, pavement cafes, restaurants and bars.
Although our cottage is only minutes from the highly recommended Vioreau Beach, the chic seaside resort of La Baule with its sandy Atlantic beach is less than an hour's drive away.
To the south west of the cottage, just beyond the ship-building town of Saint Nazaire (where there are still the second world war German submarine pens), you'll reach the classy seaside resorts on the Atlantic coast. Here you will find miles of sweeping sandy beaches and exclusive shops and restaurants. South of La Baule, across the Loire estuary, is another famous seaside resort, Pornic, whilst just to the north is Batz sur Mer. Here there is a renowned Second World War German blockhouse which is now a lively and fascinating museum. With its realistic reconstructions and video footage, it offers a glimpse of life on the Third Reich’s Atlantic wall and well worth a visit.
Half an hour’s drive away from the cottage is Nantes, the capital of the Western Loire. This magnificent city is the sixth biggest in France and was voted recently by the French people to be the most desirable and cultured city in which to live in France. It’s also a shoppers’ paradise with many designer shops, boutiques, the famous cholcolatier "Gautiers" and a branch of Galeries Lafayette, an ideal location if you feel the need to exercise your credit card.
Alternatively, if you just need to relax, our forest cottage will appeal to nature lovers and star gazers.
