Description of local area and activities: Nuevo Portil is located in the Huelva province and can be found on the coastal road just a stones throw from the beautiful fishing village of El Rompido. As well as a variety of local activities and a magnificant golf course on your doorstep, the beaches are a wonder to behold. With miles of fine white and golden sand they are undoubtably some of the best you will find anywhere in Spain but unlike many Mediterranean beaches the beaches here are still wild with sweeping sand dunes and pine trees. Protected by the 3km long Flecha del Rompido the local beaches provide a safe haven for swimmers, sailers and water sports lovers.
