There is definitely plenty to do, and most of the major attractions in the province of Cadiz is only within walking distance from the villa. The El Paseo mall is less than a km away and you can find several fast-food places, pubs, restaurants, cinema and an internet cafe. All within 20 minute walk from your doorstep. The Casino Bahia de Cadiz is not just a casino, it offers a variety of entertainment and Aqua Sherry Water park provides an exciting water experience for the whole family as well, all within less than a km away from Villa Casa de Amour. Immerse yourself in the Spanish culture and attend several amateur and professional Bull Fights from late June to early Sept. Beautiful, well comfortably furnished 4 bedroom 2 bathroom one level villa. Excellent value for family and large group, Sleeps 8 -10. Relax in your own private pool and garden equipped with lounge chairs and hammocks. The garden is surrounded by mature fruit & flowering trees, completely enclosed with fragrant jasmine, providing a safe haven for children and pets. Costa de la Luz is known for 300+ days of sunshine and you can enjoy it while you sit outside the 2 exterior covered patios.
The interior of the villa has many custom touches throughout, including intricate Moorish plaster work, built in bookshelves in the living room and custom tile work in the bathrooms and kitchen. The bathrooms are typical of Spanish homes, newly retiled, equipped with a shower, bidet, tub, and cabinet space to neatly store your basic toiletries. The living room has wood burning fire place. All bedrooms have built-in wardrobes and all windows have screens and “Persianna” blinds that would block out all lights for your own comfort. The fully equipped new kitchen is large and efficiently designed to accommodate 2-3 cooks at the same time. The villa is newly decorated with brand new comfortable furnishings. Please no smoking inside the house. There is also ample space for street parking.
Prime location: Quiet residential neighborhood, away from the bustling tourist noise. 5 minutes from the El Puerto train station, 10km to the city of Jerez, and 20 km from Jerez airport that is served by low cost airline Ryan Air and Britannia Airways. Other airports that are located nearby are Seville (1 hour drive) and Malaga/Faro (3 hour drive), which can be flown to and from many UK airports. Walk to major shopping, casino, water park.

Description outside property: The enclosed garden provides a safe haven for our guests with small children. The garden boasts a variety of fruit and flowering trees as well as bold bougainvillas during the warmer months. From Nov-Jan, you can enjoy the abundance of sweet oranges that you can pick right from the tree, and come around March to early June to enjoy the intense sweet smell of jasmine that drapes the fence providing privacy to the outside. There are a couple of hammocks and pool loungers that you can also enjoy year round as Costa de la Luz is known for 300+ days of sunshine. An occassional presence of a chamelon, a species in danger of extinction, will be quite a highlight of your stay in Villa Casa de Amour, as they would once in a while pay us a visit in our own backyard.
El Puerto dc Santa Maria is situated in the middle of the Parque Natural Bahia de Cadiz (Bahia de Cadiz Natural Park), and is limited by two large strips of land. One of them is an immense “green lung” of two hundred hectares of pine trees which forms one part of the three ecosystems in the Municipal Area where you can find abundant stone pine trees and other types along with some cypresses and a few isolated eucalyptuses. The Donana nature reserve is worth visiting if you enjoy the natural wonders of our planet (30 minutes away). You can find a great variety of invertebrate animals as well as many birds and fish, which make up as many as 40 different animal species, some of which are of great commercial value.

Description of local area and activities: Jerez is within 10 km away from Villa Casa de Amour, well known for their international production of Sherry wine. It is also the birth place of Flamenco and the taverns are a good place to have a taste of this traditional Spanish dance. Jerez is also well known for their magnificent horses. The Jerez equestrian school is famous world wide. Jerez and El Puerto de Santa Maria are littered with bodegas that are open to the public for tours and special wine tasting events.
Coast/Beach/Golf
The Blue Flag award winning La Barrosa beach is only a 30 minute drive from the villa. However there are many local magnificent beaches on the Costa de la Luz. Valdelagrana beach, Vistahermosa, Rota and Puerto Sherry are all within 10 min drive in which all beaches are lined with more bars, shops and restaurants that you can imagine. Towards Tarifa the coast is littered with more stunning beaches such as Conil and Zahara. It is also known as the wind surfing capital of the world which is only an hour drive from Casa de Amour.
Travel/Distances
Rental car is recommended if you would like to visit the many historic towns in Southern Spain. However, Casa de Amour is only 5 minutes from the train station that connects to major railways throughout Europe. El Puerto de Santa Maria train station connects to Cadiz, Sevilla, Madrid Granada and all the way up to Barcelona. The villa is only 10km away from Jerez with its sherry tasting, Flamenco dancers and famous dancing horses. The white villages of Medina Sedonia, Vejer, Arcos de la Frontera are only within 30 minutes drive away, and the historic towns of Ronda, Cordoba, Bolonia, Sevilla is only within an hour away. Granada, The Sierra Nevada, Marbella, Malaga are 3 hours away.
Local activities
You are only within walking distance to a large casino, Aqua Sherry water park, major shopping center and the Osborne family bodega. Casa de Amour is less than 10 minutes drive from all the old down towns tourist attractions of El Puerto: the famous Puerto bull ring and the riverside restaurant area. There is also a 30 minute Ferry ride that can take you to Cadiz.
With 22 kilometres of coastline, our city offers a rich variety of low sandy beaches. Its privileged location, between Rota, Sanlucar, Jerez, Puerto Real and the sea, with a magnificent communication network linking the city to all of the towns and villages in the area, making El Puerto the centre of the Bay.
