Description of facilities: There is a pretty sunny courtyard at the front of the Cottage where you can eat alfresco. Behind and to the side of the cottage you will find the secluded & private garden where you will find the above ground pool measuring approx. 3.5 diameter. There are also 2.5 acres of south facing grounds that you can explore, or walk down to the stream where you will find a shady bench where you can sit and watch the wildlife. Tranquility is all around.
Description inside property: The Cottage has been sympathetically restored, to a very high standard, retaining many of the original features,including terracotta tiles, stone walls & beams. The kitchen area is well equipped, allowing you to prepare a quick snack or a three course meal, with a large wooden table which seats 8. In the cosy lounge area you will find two comfortable sofas a tv, dvd player and a woodburning stove for those cooler evenings. There are 3 bedrooms Bedroom 1 downstairs, ensuite double bed, plenty of storage. Door leading to the private garden. Bedroom 2 upstairs with wonderful wood beamed ceiling, king size bed & washbasin. Bedroom 3 downstairs 2 single beds, There is a large walk in shower & downstairs cloakroom with toilet and basin. The washingmachine is located in a laundry cupboard, with the ironing board & iron.

| Description of local area and activities: Chez Beaugis is in a small hamlet surrounded by the Charantais countryside, where there are fields of sunflowers, sheep & cattle. Chasseneuil-sur-bonnieure is just 3kms away with all the amenities a cinema, indoor swimming pool. Plenty of shops selling traditional French food. There is also weekly markets Sat & Wed.La Rochefourcauld with its XLLc Chateau is just 10 minutes away. Angouleme is within easy reach with it's many shops bars & restuarants. We have wonderful beach lakes nearby for a good family day out. Go karting & horse riding all nearby. |

Notes: Grand Massifs Le Mont Dore is about 3 away hours drive. A small and very nice French ski resort, with good resturants and shops. VERY TRADITIONAL A long day but it is possble to leave Chez Beaugis and have a days sking at Le Mont Dore. You can hire all the equipment that you need. Chez Beaugis is an all year round holiday destination. |

A returnable security deposit of £50 per adult over the age of 12, is required with your balance or in euros upon arrival. Fully inclusive of bedlinen, towels & tea towels. (For a two week stay linen & towels will be changed on the second week. Guests are requested to bring their own pool towels. Logs for fire, electric gas & cleaning materials are also included. If final cleaning is required a charge of £35.00 will be made. The prices for off peak £220 is for two people additional persons plus £35. |
