Location
Saint Séverin is located in the south of Charente where it borders the green Perigord region of France. The region is renowned for its gentle undulating countryside interspersed with picturesque rivers, lakes and sleepy villages. It is also well known for its gastronomy, wines and sunny climate.
Description of eco friendly facilities: Very low air pollution and light pollution. Although the village of Saint Severin has street lights they make little impact on the night sky. A great place for star gazing. We are on mains drainage and tap water is potable. Local produce, in many cases organically grown can be purchased at many of the open air markets. The locality has many waste recycling centres and has achieved 70% target in recycling.
