Activities

Festivals
Restrennen has an annual religious festival where a statue of the Virgin Mary is carried in a torchlight procession to the Montagne Du Minou. Cuisine
As in all areas of Brittany, Cote’s d’Armor has an abundance of seafood and you can sample delicious dishes which use lobster, langoustines and mussels. Local cheeses artichokes and lamb are also very much part of the local fare, as are of course sweet and savoury crepes.
Towns
Dinan is a river port where you can enjoy a stroll through the winding cobbled streets, browse through the shops and enjoy a meal at one of the excellent restaurants where shellfish is a speciality. Here you will also see a castle and ramparts from another era. There is a petit train to take you from the port if the hilly streets prove to be too much of a challenge on a hot day.
St. Brieuc is an attractive little town, famous for its international Rock Festival in September which brings artists from around the world. In St. Brieuc and you will find excellent shops around the Rue Fardel and the Rue Quinquaine. St. Brieuc is also a centre for cultural events.
St. Cast- is a seaside resort with many good beaches and beautiful views over the Emerald Coast and Cap Frehel. This area is a perfect location for a coastal hike.
Quincamp is a university town with lively nightlife, bars, restaurants and pavement cafes. The town’s pedestrian’s centre is surrounded by fine old wooden houses with slate facades and there is a beautiful fountain from the renaissance period.
