Description of local area and activities: has an important hilly area that is a paradise for those that like to go trekking and love to practice birdwatching. From the hill dedicated to Santa Vittoria, not far from Pula you can see the Pixina Manna Forest and also the forest of Is Cannoneris. Lovely places with magic woods, waterfalls, wild animals covered by blue sky were the eagles fly. The trippers have to choose wich way to sea wonderful foreshortening or to sight the protagonist of the area, the Sardinian Deer.
The snow white beaches of this area are one of the most beautiful of the Island a real dream come true for those that love to swim an sunbathe. You can start visiting the lovely beaches of Nora and Foxi’e Sali. Along the sea front of Santa Margherita you can visit the beaches of Mare e Pineta, Is Morus, Calaverde and Riva dei Pini enriched by a green pine forest, many ice cream shops and bars that animate themselves at night time. The depths of Pula’s waters are to be discovered by those that practice snorkelling. The little marinas of Porto Columbu and Cala Verde are the destination of many lovers of the navigation.
The attractive beach of Chia is only 44Km far from Cagliari. It is the kingdom of the Sardinian surfers and a real natural paradise because of it’s important big sand dunes and it’s lovely green waters. At the end of the coast you can visit Capo Teulada that has beautiful white beaches, little bays and little granite islands. We should also point out to your attention the pleasing beaches of Capo Malfatano, Cala Cipolla, Tuerredda and the famous Cala Zafferano beach.
Pula’s territory has a lot of sport centres with tennis courts, riding grounds and swimming pools.
Those that love to play golf can visit a go play at the Is Molas Golf Centre an 18 hole course not far from the sea that remains open all year long and that gives hospitality to the P.G.A Challenge tour and to the Open Italia. It is an exclusive club right for any kind of player.
