Description inside property: The latest addion to La Treille gites, this gite was newly renovated during 2007. Situated within the barn the gite has 2 en-suit bedrooms sleeping between 2 to 5 people. Featuring original exposed stonework and beams. It is airy, light and tastefully decorated.
Facilities include; Open-plan lounge/TV area with new modern comfortable furniture, fully fitted kitchen and large dining area with large patio doors leading onto your private terrace, lawns and gardens. There is also a separate toilet downstairs. Upstairs are the 2 generous sized en-suit bedrooms, 1 twin room and the other with 1 double and 1 single bed.
Description outside property: There is a covered bar area overlooking the pool and although we're not licensed you're welcome to bring your own drinks. Plenty of terrace area around the pool and upto the bar. There is a boules court and we also have a pool table that our guests are welcome to use free of charge. There are an abundance of fruit trees in our gardens including cherry and plum also giving shaded area's just to the side of the pool.
Although we do not allow smoking inside the gite you are welcome to smoke anywhere outside.

Description of local area and activities: The Dordogne is known as the land of a thousand chateaux and we have plenty within the local area for you to explore as well as vineyards, country walks and many charming local villages and restaurants to discover. Also the nearby rivers and lakes have sandy beach area's - perfect for family picnics etc.
Montagrier is also well known among the Mountain Biking community as there is a local centre (VTT) that organises local races, randonees etc. |
