Description inside property: Guernazou is situated in a quiet hamlet in the foothills of the black mountains, with its stunning views and abundance of wildlife. There is a large pretty garden with veranda, sun loungers, tables and chairs, and barbeque, all overlooking beautiful countryside. The rear gate leads out onto woodland tracks, through shallow rivers and deep up into the dense pine forests of the black mountains.
Explore the miles of unspoilt countryside, and admire the breathtaking scenery, by walking the miles of ancient breton pathways linking each tiny mountain hamlet.
For those who prefer a challenge, the numerous steep tracks are ideal for mountain biking, and with the beautiful Nantes to Brest canal just a few minutes away, you have the choice of leisurely cycling, which is the ideal way to appreciate your surroundings
The whole gite is central heated and furnished to a very high standard.The accomodation comprises of a kitchen/lounge/dining room, traditionally decorated in breton style with a log burner, 3 large sofas, uk satelite tv, stereo, large dining table,well equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge
The bedroom is very large with a double bed, & a single bed. There is a bathroom with luxury roll top bath, and separate toilet.

In the surrounding area:
There are numerous medieval towns to explore, and wonderful churches,museums and art galleries to visit in the area. The village of St Hernin is a couple of miles away, with its church, natural springs, shop, bars, post office and free tennis courts. The town of Carhaix is just seven miles away, with its brand new swimming pool, with tunnel water slide and adult jacuzzi, as well as go karting and bowling, and an adrenaline assault course for adults and children, including tree slides etc. There are numerous shops and retaurants, and market day is on a saturday, selling fresh farm produce.
Gourin is just four miles away, with outdoor swimming pool, restaurants, shops and market day is on a monday.
Most coastlines are accessible within 40 minutes, which makes this an ideal location for exploring the whole of brittany, and house hunting.
