Description inside property: This superb, brand new first floor apartment overlooks the pool and 16th fairway of the Hacienda Riquelme golf resort - the fourth complex to be built by Polaris World.
The apartment has full air conditioning and central heating and consists of 2 bedrooms, which can be made up as doubles or singles, 1 bathroom, lounge/diner and fully equiped kitchen. There is also a good sized balcony with furniture.
The lounge has two comfortable 2 seater sofas, large coffee table and a flat screen TV with a good selection of DVDs and CDs. Patio doors lead to the balcony.
The bedrooms have quality beds and both having great views towards the mountains. Either bedroom can be made up as a double or twin singles. There is a safe in the master bedroom which can be personally coded.

Description of local area and activities: The Murcia Region experiences one of the greatest yearly number of sunny days with an average temperature of 21s C and has a shoreline in excess of 200 Km over two seas - the Mar Minor, or 'Little Sea', and the Mediterranean. The La Manga coastal strip almost closes off the Mar Minor from the Mediterranean making it Europes largest salt water lake. Its temperature can be 5s C warmer than that of the Med! This makes it ideal for water sports such as wind surfing, kite surfing and dinghy sailing as well as swimming.
Hacienda Riquelme is not just for golfers though! The apartment provides a great base if you are looking to explore this wonderful area of Spain, or just looking to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist resorts. |

Notes: Hacienda Riquelme requires you to produce your very best golf. It is a larger than average course of 18 holes and a par of 72. The rolling fairways intertwine with five lakes and lead to undulating greens. A real test of golf!
El Valle is an 18 hole, par 71 with two lakes, streams and waterfalls. There is a very subtle desert feel to El Valle and with 4 tees provides enjoyable golf for all handicaps.
La Torre is an 18 hole par 68 course with three lakes and again four sets of tees. It has wide fairways but still requires a fair degree of accuracy due to the large, well placed bunkers.
Mar Menor was the first of the Polaris World golf resorts. Originally 9 holes, it is currently being extended to 18 incorporating the original 9. Wide fairways and large bunkers provide a fair test of golf. |
