Notes: Booking Terms & Conditions

Please read these conditions carefully as they are the terms of your contract with us.

• All agreed bookings will be confirmed by letter or email when the non-refundable deposit of €150/£110 has been paid.

• Provisional bookings will be held open for 7 days only pending receipt of deposit. The full balance is due 8 weeks prior to the date of arrival.

• If you make a booking less than 8 weeks before your intended holiday we will require payment in full right away. All prices are quoted in Euros and Pounds Sterling and cheques should be made payable to Janice Dillingham or via internet banking.

• A refundable security bond will be required of €300 or £200 per rental period, Please send a separate cheque at the time of final payment. (This cheque will not be cashed until 1 week before the start of your holiday). This is to cover any damage to the property or its contents, although the client’s liability is not limited to this amount. This deposit will be returned to you by cheque, less any deductions for damage, excessive cleaning or missing items, within two weeks of your departure.

Cancellations Policy

• The €150/£100 deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances. Cancellations notified 8 weeks and before prior to your stay will result in a full refund of any monies paid except for the €150/£100 deposit. In the event of cancellation after the 8 weeks prior to arrival, you will be charged the full rental fee. It is therefore recommended that you take out a personal holiday insurance policy to cover this eventuality.

Accommodation

• The house is normally let from 2pm on the date of arrival and must be vacated by 11 am on the date of departure unless alternative arrangements are made with us prior to your stay. This allows us time to prepare for each new arrival.

• May I ask that you do not use bleach or anti-bacterial cleaners as they can affect the efficiency of the waste system. I provide a welcome pack of some essentials for your arrival.

• I respect both smoking and non-smoking guests, although I would ask our guests not to smoke inside the house please.

• Please inform me of any breakages immediately so that they can be replaced.

• I will not be liable for any electricity failure, nor failure of water supplies to the house; nor any other matters beyond my 'reasonable' control; nor for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by any guest should the property be destroyed or substantially damaged prior to the rental period, other than the amount already paid by you in respect of the rental. Under no circumstances shall my liability to you exceed the amount paid to us by you for the rental period.

• The use of the accommodation, grounds, equipment or other amenities is entirely at your own risk and I accept no responsibility for any injury, loss or damage to guests personally, or their belongings or vehicles. You are strongly advised to take out and bring notification healthcare cover with you including an E11 Form which can be easily obtained online or via your local post office branch
