In the hamlet of Les Milandes, the cottage sits above the Dordogne river. It originally belonged to the neighbouring Chateau des Milandes, once the home of the unforgettable cabaret artist Josephine Baker who took paris by storm in 1928 with La Revue Negre. Nowadays the Chateau is open as a museum in her honour and falconry displays are included in the visit.
