Step down from the lounge to the magnificent dining hall with large long table seating upto 14 people. Ornate doors open onto a lovely cool terrace area covered in climbing plants, an ideal location for enjoying breakfast outdoors. The country style kitchen is a large "L" shaped area with lots of cupboard space, gas cooking and large table in the center. The fourth bedroom and bathroom is located off this area and would ideally suite children. There is a separate TV lounge with comfortable chairs to enjoy the entertainment. A hallway provides an additional shower room and WC and bar area which is easily accessed from the pool and garden area. Upstairs the lovely master bedroom suite has a shower room, large windows and a door leading to the roof terrace which has steps down to the gardens and pool area. The second bedroom also has access to the roof terrace and an en-suite shower room. The third bedroom is a family room with double bed and 2 single beds, en-suite bathroom and corner open fireplace. All the main rooms in this property have beamed ceilings and open fireplaces.

The Finca is set in a plot of 10,000 square metres. The gardens are full of palms, fruiting trees like orange, lemon and olive, there are flower beds and hidden areas, cool terraces and plenty of space for soaking up the sun. The large roof terrace has steps leading down to the garden and pool area. There is a large BBQ area with seating and 2 or 3 other terraces ideal for outdoor entertaining and furnished with tables and chairs. The garden and terrace areas are well lit and private. The tennis court is due to undergo resurfacing and is located with easy access from the house. The pool area is large with plenty of space for sunbathing and relaxing. There are roman style steps leading into the pool at the shallow end and the deeper end has a diving board. Bicycles and boats can be hired by the day or by the week, please contact us for further details. There is a small 2 bedroom property and Casita in the grounds of the house which is the accommodation for the caretaker.

Description of local area and activities:

The nearest Airport is Alicante and just a short coastal drive using the AP7 motorway will bring you to the property. The Costa Blanca is renowned for its year round sunshine and low rainfall, fresh fish, hand picked oranges, figs, dates and vegetables. In the early spring the whole area is covered with the white or pink blossom from the Almond trees and the site and smell is incredible. Many fiestas held throughout the year can be enjoyed by all ages, these colourful spectacles can be found in most towns and include the Moors and Christians festivals with week long processions, battles and incredible firework displays. In June the celebration of Hogeras where huge statues are set on fire to celebrate the night of St Juan should not be missed and the province of Alicante is known for staging the best Hogeras festival. The cosmopolitan City of Alicante is just 45 minutes by car or can be reached via a coastal train ride and has a fantastic port area and the spectacularly tiled Esplanada, favoured in the afternoons by the locals who sit and watch the people pass by. The Santa Barbera castle is wonderfuly lit at night and is host to the many concerts and firework displays to mark celebtations throughout the year. A fabulous marina with yachts and visiting cruise ships and typically spanish tapas bars serving excellent local food. The resort of Albir just 10 minutes by car south of this property has a lovely sandy beach and the beach town of Altea has a picturesque old town with white washed houses and a beautiful old church nestled amongst antique, craft and art shops. The lovely and lively resort of Benidorm is only 10 minutes away and here you will find something to do for all ages at any time of the year. Just 15 minutes south is the town of Villajoyosa with its bright painted houses, painted this way it is said so that the fisherman can see there home when out at sea.
