There are several mature fruit trees (cherries, plums, pears, wallnut) at the edges of the property and guests are welcome to help themselves to the fruits - it they are lucky to be there in season.

Description of local area and activities: Less than 3 miles from Malansac is the picturesque medieval village of Rochefort-en-Terre. It has beautiful architecture, including a chateau, cobbled streets, interesting shops as well as a good choice of restaurants and creperies. Nearby is the “Moulin Neuf”, a lovely 50-acre lake with safe sandy beach, tennis and boules courts.
There is also a popular Prehistoric Park (Parc de Prehistoire) just outside Malansac, in the direction of Rochefort-en-Terre. The park is always a favourite with the children, with its beautiful setting, fascinating scenes and information about dinosaurs and the evolution of mankind in Brittany. |
