| Description of local area and activities: A good area for walking, the hamlet being surrounded by lovely broad leafed wooded area. Much wild life, birds, butterflies and wild flowers. A good area for visiting historic France, castles, caves, the most famous being Lascaux just 8 kms away towards Montignac. Also many towns with good local markets, there will be one everyday not too far away. Good rivers for fishing, canoeing etc nearby, Dordogne and Vezere. Or you can just sit by the pool or in the garden and read a good book and enjoy a glass of wine. |
