All the en-suite facilities have showers,washbasin and lavatory.The master bedroom has a bath in addition to a shower.
The living area within the gite has a fully equipped kitchen, washroom is seperate.
The salonhas soft furnishings with a seperate TV DVD viewing area. The salon opens onto a large south facing covered terrace area with BBQ that has uninterrupted views over rolling countryside. The house is in a truly tranquil and private situation, enjoying its own aspect.
The owners live close by and are on hand for your reception.
Gas, electricity, water, line, hand and bath towel, and pool towels are provided. A welcome pack of tea,coffeeand milk along with a bottle of wine and mineral water is provided with our compliments.
Lageneste is situated in a small hamlet just outside the village of St Laurent des Batons and is located east of Bergerac approx 25klms and south of Perigueux approx 34klms.
Daily flights from uk, 7 destinations with Ryan air and Flybe into Bergerac, 25mins drive to Lageneste. Bordeeaux flights also daily with a 2hr drive to Lageneste.
Lageneste sits in the heart of the Perigord region, which is famous for cuisine,foie-gras, truffle, fine wine, walnut.....and much more.
There is plenty to do and see in the area from visiting the prehistoric sites to canoeing on the river Dordogne. We are conveniently placed, and within easy distance for visiting chateauxs, Bastide towns and many other attractions.
Pursuits include cycling,walking, canoeing,horseriding, bird watching,fishing,visits to vinyards in the Bordeaux and Bergerac regions. Many summer and winter market. shopping in Bergerasc, Perigueux and Sarlat.

Notes: Changeover Day is Saturday. A deposit of 50% is requirred when making a booking, the balance is payed 6 weeks before arrival, a Breakage deposit of £200 is asked for in cash on your arrival and given back to you when you depart.
All Linen, Gite and Pool towels are provided and changed on a weekly basis. |
