Each bedroom leads into the well equipped kitchen with wooden units and the dining area leads onto the charming terrace. The Salon is accessed from the kitchen and has armchairs and a sofa bed if needed.
Description outside property: le Maison de Gardien was originally the gatekeeper's cottage and adjoins L'Arc en Ciel with which it shares the swimming pool but a dividing wall ensures that it retains its independence with seperate terraces and entrance.

In the hamlet of Les Milandes, the cottage sits above the Dordogne river. It originally belonged to the neighbouring Chateau des Milandes, once the home of the unforgettable cabaret artist Josephine Baker who took paris by storm in 1928 with La Revue Negre. Nowadays the Chateau is open as a museum in her honour and falconry displays are included in the visit. |
