Description inside property: This extremely flexible accommodation is suitable for parties of all sizes. For larger groups the full accommodation is available plus all the facilities. For 1 or 2 couples it is ideal, offering the ground floor and all the facilities - the upstairs rooms will be closed off and unoccupied. The weekly rate will depend on the size of your party.
The farmhouse accommodation sleeps up to 8 in 4 bedrooms, the double and twin downstairs rooms have their own en suite shower rooms, the 2 upstairs bedrooms share a large bathroom with both bath and shower. A cot is available upon request.
The salon is comfortably furnished with sofas and armchairs, satellite TV, VCR, music centre, books, board games and fire for the cooler months.
The light and airy farmhouse kitchen has a pine table and chairs and a magnificent range of built-in wooden cupboards provides ample storage. The kitchen is very well equipped with gas cooker, fridge/freezer, dish washer, washing machine, microwave and food processor.
On the first floor there is a large open plan area with sofas and chairs, second TV, VCR and a good selection of board games - ideal for the children to get away from the parents!
The property has central heating for our out of season visitors.
Description outside property: Attached to the farmhouse there is a spacious gamesroom with a table tennis table and darts board.
The 10m x 5m heated swimming pool has roman steps in the shallow end and a diving board at the deep end. A paved terrace surrounds the pool and a large covered area to provide shade during the hottest part of the day. There are tables, chairs, sun-loungers and umbrellas, and the pool is enclosed to give peace of mind to parents of young children.
In the garden there is plenty of room to spread out and relax or to play badminton, ball games or boules. We also supply a swing, paddling pool and sandpit for the little ones. There are 2 terraces well equipped with tables, chairs, umbrellas, sun loungers and barbecues.

Description of local area and activities: The leisure lake at Lac de Gurson with boating, riding, tennis, crazy golf, a water shoot, a large sandy beach and several bars and restaurants is 7km. Chateau Vigiers’ 18 hole golf course is ½hr, whilst the 9 hole course at Chateau Les Merles is 45 minutes. Canoeing on the River Dordogne is 10 minutes. In Bergerac there is a golf driving range and go-carting track. Another local lake has hydro jets and quad bikes. Mountain bikes can be hired locally.
St. Vivien (1km) is a delightful village in the middle of the Bergerac vineyards. The 12th Century church is the focal point in the village. There is also a village shop/bar, tennis court and wine cooperative all within a one-kilometer walk of Le Roc Nord.
There are numerous market towns nearby, such as Ste. Foy-La-Grande, Montpon and Castillon-la-Bataille with excellent locally grown produce for sale. Our nearest town is Vélines (3 km) with bar, post office, pharmacy, doctor, boulangerie and general store and the nearest supermarket is (10 km).

A deposit of 25% is required when booking, the balance and a returnable security deposit of £100 is payable 8 weeks before your holiday.
Prices include electricity, gas and hot water, all bed linen, bathroom mats and towels and tea towels. Please bring your own swimming towels.
If used, central heating will be charged at cost.
Short-term winter lets available from October to Easter please ask for rates.
