Description inside property: You are warmly invited to make Les Belles Fleurs Holiday Gites your base for discovering Brittany’s beautiful Cotes D’Armor region and surrounding areas.
We have two properties which are built in local granite and date back to 1872. Maison Lavande (Property reference 1422) is a beautiful 3 bedroom Breton farmhouse It is very spacious and still has many of the original ‘olde charme’ features. Maison Rose (Property reference 1423 is a two bedroom gite, which has been converted and sympathetically restored. Both properties have been completely modernised, have their own private garden and south facing patio and are fully equipped for the perfect holiday.
Maison Lavande is a very spacious, three bedroom farmhouse which is split over two floors. It can accommodate up to seven people (plus an additional two with use of the sofa bed). The terrace at the front of the property has patio furniture, sun beds, barbecue and faces south.
The lounge/diner leads off the kitchen and has exposed beams and a tiled floor. There is a large granite fireplace and woodburning stove in the corner of the room which makes it cosy during the out of season months. It also benefits from satellite television and a DVD/CD player. The dining area has a large oak table that can seat up to eight people. There is a sofa bed in the corner of the room which can be used for additional seating/sleeping as required.
There is a beautiful country style kitchen which includes oven, hob, fridge and microwave, together with a dishwasher and washing machine in the adjacent utility room. The cloakroom on the ground floor has a WC and wash hand basin.
There is a large double glazed door which leads off the kitchen and gives access to the patio area making al fresco dining easy.
On the first floor, all bedrooms have beautiful views and overlook the gardens and surrounding countryside. There is a master bedroom with a Louis Philippe style sleigh bed, bedside cabinets and built in wardrobe. The second bedroom has pine bunk beds and single bed with wardrobe and chest of drawers. The third bedroom has twin beds and a built- in wardrobe and chest of drawers. There is a family bathroom with shower over the bath, WC and wash hand basin.
The gites are situated in lovely rural countryside with mature gardens/paddock which extend to 2.5 acres but are also only 20 minutes from the fabulous beaches and other main attractions within this area Both properties have the benefit of oil fired central heating for out of season comfort.
There is a play area with a wooden playhouse and swing set/slide together with a large field for football or cricket.
The properties are less than a mile away from the village of Pluzunet with its boulangerie/general store, restaurant and bar. We are also less than ten minutes drive from the town of Begard with its large Intermarche supermarket, restaurants, shops and bars. The major towns of Lannion and Guingamp are also within 15 minutes drive.
The British owners, Steve and Rachel Finch live alongside and are always available to help you make the most of your stay. We can provide local knowledge to help you find places of interest, restaurants, markets etc
The ferry port of Roscoff and Brest Airport are less than 1 hours drive away or if you prefer St Malo port or Dinard Airport then the travelling time is approximately 1.5 hours.

Description of local area and activities: Where do we start! The options are virtually endless. Whether you want sandy beaches which are just 20 minutes away, country or coastal walks, to visit glorious chateaux with formal gardens or amble around picturesque market towns, Cotes D’Armor has it all.
You can take numerous boat trips to explore islands such as Isle of Brehat or the Sept Isles which is great for wildlife enthusiasts. A delightful steam train journey is also available from Paimpol to Pontrieux. The departure points for all these trips are less than 40 minutes drive from the Gite..
The area is also ideal if you fancy a spot of fishing, sailing, surfing, golfing, cycling or horse riding– just take your pick!
For the kiddies or for a great family day out there is a small theme park just 10 minutes drive away. This boasts an aqua centre with swimming pool, giant slides, bowling, trampolines and mini-golf. The fabulous Oceanopolis aquarium at Brest is also sure to please.
