Cap D'Agde is a very fashionable resort located on the Mediterranean coast just 45 minutes south of Montpellier. It is situated in the Languedoc region - the sunniest in France - with possibly the greatest range of activities and beaches on the whole of the Mediterranean coast. Languedoc is a fantastic area for wine tasting and enjoying the delights of sun-drenched Mediterranean cuisine and seafood.
In Agde there is an SNCF train station to enable easy travel to great nearby cosmopolitan cities of Montpellier, Beziers, Nimes, Narbonne, Carcassone and Perpignan.
Easily served by low cost airlines into Beziers, Montpellier, Nimes, Carcassone, Perpignan, Toulouse. Buses (Navettes) operate from all airports to local train stations. Trains come to Agde where there are taxis outside the station, approx 5km to Cap D’Agde. TGV from Paris direct to Agde in 4 hours.

Description of local area and activities: Cap D’Agde is a perfect family holiday location.
Ile des Loisirs has an array of theme parks; Aqualand, Dino Park, Toon's Land, Luna Park, plus, go-carting, mini-golf, roller skating casino and nite clubs. There are International tennis courts and an 18 Hole golf course only minutes away. The coast has lots of safe, sandy beaches and the full selection of watersports of course!
The Cap provides endless activities, sports and entertainments, a fantastic array of amusements for the kids and superb nightlife for the adults. The Marina and apartment provide a stylish retreat to relax and while away the hours in.
Hiring of cars, jeeps, motorbikes, cycles, horseriding, fishing tackle, boats, diving and boat trips are all available on The Cap. During the summer there is a large weekly general and food market on The Cap. Cap D'Agde also boasts one of the largest Naturist Resorts in Europe.
It is an easy drive, bus or cycle ride to the Medieval town of Agde – The Black Pearl – A town full of history, with quaint winding streets, gorgeous shops, promenade cafes, waterside restaurants, weekly flea, flower, food and general markets; not to be missed! Sete, a bustling fishing port and town is a short coastal-road drive away and there are also smaller, delightful villages to explore eg Bessan, Marseillan, Vias, Serignan.
In the area, throughout the season there are a variety of street festivals and entertainments; music, theatre, sport, food and local produce, to name but a few. In Languedoc, Cap D’Agde and Agde there is always something to interest you and tempt your palate!
