Description of facilities: We have electric heating. Cooling fans. The house has the benefit of WIFI internet connection, for those who just have to take the laptop.!!
The kitchen is equipped for year round living, there is a combination oven which grills ,bakes, and microwaves, great for those of you who wish to cook.
3 areas suitable for dining, surrounded by gardens, and enclosed decking area.
On the ground floor there is a spacious open plan lounge, dining and fitted kitchen area. There is also a toilet. The sofa converts to a sprung bed which will sleep two. On the first floor we have two bedrooms, one double with balcony overlooking the garden, one single bed and a single loft bed. You will also find a shower room with vanity basin and toilet.
French doors lead out to a ining terraces, and deck area, surrounded by gardens with lush planting. There is ample car parking at Le Piteou.

"Mon Reve" is now available in Sept. 14 to 30th. We are now taking bookings for Summer 2008, please book early for July and August. Leon is right down in the South-West of France where the sun is much higher in the sky all year round. The forest of Landes is vast, and together with the amazing Atlantic dominates the landscape.
This cottage has everything you would need and want; There is a fitted kitchen with ceramic hob, washing machine, and combination oven, beautiful tiled floors, French style furniture, sofabed to sleep two, downstairs toilet. Two bedrooms and a shower room. There is a delightful balcony off the main bedroom where you can watch the sun rise from your bed, or have petit déjeuner on the balcony, and listen to the many birds we have at Le Piteou.

Description of local area and activities: Mon Reve, is located in the beautiful region of the southern Aquitaine, in the Landes forest. , six minutes drive to the nearest beach.
Located in Leon, a ancient market village. Mon Rêve, is found in a South facing corner of Le Piteou. The property is set amongst mature pine & cork trees, It is set back from the road . The communal gardens span 2000 sq mtrs and our own private garden of 55sq meters.
The Landes area is an undiscovered and truly beautiful place. we feel we have found the perfect holiday area, as it has everything anyone could wish for. Unspoilt beaches, safe family friendly off road cycle paths. Historic town of Dax is 30 minutes away. The village has a cinema, lots of shops,Surfing schools, banks, bars, bakeries, delis and restaurants are on the doorstep - less than 2 minutes walking distance.
Leon has a large lake with safe swimming beach, boating and fishing - the Lac de Leon is about 1km. Family friendly, area. |
