Description of facilities: A widescreen TV with satellite channels including BBC world news and a DVD player with surround-sound capability are in the living area. A PS2 is also kept here, with several games provided, suitable from age 3+. Our stereo system can play CDs and MP3s.

Description inside property: This brand new, 2 bedroom duplex is located in the centre of Caleta de Fuste within a private complex of 13 apartments with entrance via video intercom system. The development is beautifully designed and maintained with an eye-catching waterfall feature and swimming pool within it's private boundaries.
It is furnished to a high standard with remote control air-conditioning in all rooms, a high quality entertainment system and stereo. The main living area comprises an open plan lounge with large comfy sofa, dining table and 4 chairs. The home entertasinment system comprises a TV, DVD player, PS2 with games, and stereo that can play CDs and MP3s. The kitchen area contains an oven with grill, hob and extractor fan, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. A washing machine is located discretely on the balcony, and a clothes airer plus pegs, iron and ironing board are there too. The addition of a moveable stair gate (that can also act as a room-divider), socket covers and a lockable gate to the sun terrace mean this apartment is very child friendly. A baby bath, plates and bowls, bottle/food warmer, hand blender and travel cot with bedding and mosquito net are also supplied as standard. Two bed guards suitable for use from age 18 months can either be used as a double guard on one bed, or as single guards on beds pushed against the wall.

The main double bedroom and ground floor twin room both have fitted wardrobes supplied with coat hangers and spare linen. A hairdryer and safe are also located in the main bedroom, which has en suite access to the WC/shower room. Light duvets and covers are stowed in the top of the wardrobe if you prefer an alternative to traditional sheets and bedcover. Downstairs there is a similar but separate shower room; towels are supplied.

Both levels of the property have private outside areas: the spacious ground floor sun terrace that overlooks the pool has a family table to seat four under a parasol, and two high quality sun loungers, while the balcony has additional seating and a more intimate table for two. Beach towels are provided for your use on the beach or sun loungers.

Description of eco friendly facilities: The local recycling containers are a short distance along the road en route to the beach or restaurants and shops, and refuse is collected on a daily basis.

Description of local area and activities: This property is less than a 2 minute walk to the shops, bars, restaurants and just 5 minutes walk to the beaches of this popular family resort. Two top-notch golf courses are also nearby, the nearest only a minute’s drive away.
Caleta de Fuste is a very family friendly resort with a wide, horseshoe shaped beach that offers safe bathing for children in its shallow waters. A sandcastle school is held each day, and more energetic childrens entertainments in high season. The nearby harbour area is home to some wonderful fish restaurants. In this area you can also take part in some of the many water based activities on offer, from deep sea fishing, to scuba diving and windsurfing.There is also a submarine for an underwater trip around the harbour when the water is calm. If you’re not feeling quite as adventurous, buy some fish food from the floating shop and feed the fish!

A regular road-train provides easy travelling between regions of the resort. Beyond the harbour area the newly-built path provides a scenic walk along the volcanic coastline.

In addition to local minimarkets is a large supermarket in the nearby Atlantico Shopping Centre which also houses a cinema, bowling alley, more boutique style shops and bars/restaurants. To the rear of the Atlantico Centre are a number of beautiful manmade lagoons and sandy beaches. A rough walkway connects this area to Caleta beach.
The Museo de la Sal just 2km away shows the history of local salt production.
If you like more cabaret-style entertainment, then head to the Barcelo Club hotel for shows aimed towards all ages.

Notes: The rates shown include meeting you at the airport, and dropping you back there on the day of your departure. If we have incoming guests on that same day, our cleaners require you to have left the property by 11am. A deposit of 50% is payable on confirmation of the booking, half of which is non-refundable. The balance must be paid no later than four weeks before the rental period begins. A damage deposit of £150 is required with the balance of the payment, and this is refunded as soon as possible after our standard damage-check has been carried out, usually the day after your departure.
