Description inside property: Newly appointed 2 bed apartment on 1st floor of private Villa located within walking distance of the 'Sellia Marina' beach on the Ionian coastline.
The apartment consists of a large open-plan Kitchen-Diner and Lounge opening out onto private balcony with gorgeous views of the orange groves, villages on hillside and distant 'Appenini' mountains. Kitchen is fully equipped with firdge/freezer, gas hob & oven. Dining area has solid wood table and chairs. Lounge area comprises of Sofa+chair, TV, DVD.
The rear of the apartment houses the tastefully decorated sleeping area with two light and airy double bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed, full height wardrobe, set of drawers and bedside cabinets. The second bedroom has two single beds and wardrobe, ideal for children.
The Bathroom is fully tiled and comprises of large power shower, WC + bide' & sink.

Orange Blossom Villa is ideal for a tranquil break; perfect for families with small children. A ten minute quiet country lane walk to the beautiful beaches of Sellia Marina and a ten min. walk to the main village where you will find local shops with home grown produce, dairy/ cheese-making shops, bars/restaurants/pizzerias, olive pressing (in season) and larger supermarkets for all your needs.
Towns within 20 miles are:Crotone-the birth town of Pythagorous; Catanzaro the Regional Capital; Soverato-beach town with great shops/restaurants, Ciro-famous for its wines exported worldwide; Squillace and Le Castelle and many more small towns with Greek and Roman history. Calabria not only has beautiful sandy or rocky beaches but within a half hour drive from the apartment you'll find yourself amongst beautiful green hills and mountains with Calabrian pine trees and vegetation, lakes and gorges (National Park 45mins away)-a different World!
Franco and Elena (who is English) live on site and are more than pleased to help you with any information you need and also enjoy to organise and accompany you on any trips.
December to March is a great time to visit if you'd like to pick your own oranges and mandarins; come from October to December if you'd like to pick some olives and see olive oil pressing, maybe take a bottle home with you!
