Description of facilities: The cottage is on the edge of a hillside village with several small shops within 300 metres.The river Charente is within walking distance (Fishing) The beautiful town of Jarnac is just 5 Kms away with the charente flowing through the centre where you can rent canoes and river cruising boats. The town is full of pavement cafes and pretty shops and the town centre is dominated by the Courvoisier Chateau; home of the famous brandy producing company.There is an open air swimming pool in the town.The town of cognac is 15 Kms away where one can tour the world famous distilleries.
Description inside property: The Cottage has a large fully equipped kitchen /diner with new kitchen units and an attached large utility room. Across the spacious hall is a nice airy living room with TV and adequate seating. Upstairs is a large landing with a sofa bed and leading off here are two large bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms; both bedrooms have a double bed and a single bed.
