Description of facilities:
Le Boterff d’en Haut is a traditional Breton Longere, ideally and peacefully situated in an acre of established gardens of trees and beds in the heart of Brittany.
Bedding, linen, towels (not beach)( 1 hand & 1 bath per person are provided. Linen change weekly. Cot, high chair, garden chairs, sunbeds, games, BBQ are all available free of charge.
Description inside property: Rose Gite has been restored and converted to a high standard and to maintain the character of the property with beams and exposed stone. It accommodates up to 7 and comprises , open plan living / kitchen / dining area with wood burner. Terreesrial TV, videos, DVD & CD player. The kitchen area has a microwave, fridge/ freezer, dishwasher, full gas cooker / oven. On the ground floor a vestibule leads to a shower room & toilet. Open plan stairs lead to the first floor with a double & a twin bedrooms, plus a small twin bedroom and a single mezzanine.

Le Boterff d’en Haut is home to the British owners, Vic & Andrea Turner. It is located almost 1000 feet up, in the heart of Brittany, in a peaceful setting, of an acre of established gardens of trees and shrubs, with views of the beautiful Breton countryside. It is a traditional Breton Stone Longere and they live in one end with the rest divided into gites, which is very handy for friends or family of guests holidaying together, but wanting different types of accommodation, gites or campsite.

Description of local area and activities: Only ten minutes drive away, is the stunning Lac de Guerledan, where you can swim or enjoy many other water sports. Pedalos, boats and canoes can all be hired, or maybe take a cruise around this beautiful lake or visit the lakeside creperie. Fishing, walking, or cycling along the banks of the lake or Nantes / Brest canal are all nearby. Golf can be enjoyed at Pontivy or St Brieuc.
The Abbey at Bon Repos and the Chateau Forges des Salles are 15 minutes away. Other Chateaux, pretty villages and walled towns of historic and cultural interest, such as Pontivy or Josslin can be found in the surrounding area. Many towns and villages such as Quintin, Pontivy or Rostrenen have markets, where you can sample local produce and crafts and Mur de Bretagne has a Friday evening summer market
For lovers of French cuisine, you can linger over your meal in a wide choice of restaurants or just relax with a coffee in a street café and watch the world go by. Many other places of interest locally, as well as beaches on the North and South coasts are all within easy reach on quiet roads.
