Description of facilities: The cottage is heated by wood burning stoves for winter rental, with back up electric heaters if required.
Description inside property: The cottage originates from the 1700's. The ground level being converted stabling. It easily accomodates up to 6 people and is newly furnished and decorated. It has been traditionally restored maintaining its strong rustic character. The well equipped kitchen has a lovely arch and antique flooring. It has 2 bathrooms, one en-suite and 2 lounges with charming antique character features. Heating is via wood burning stoves.
Description outside property: Tagliolo is a sought after village and the cottage is situated on its most popular walk giving breath taking views across to the mountains on one side and the castle on the other. In the distance other hill top villages and their castles are visible.
Roveta hamlet enjoys the stunning backdrop of the Cappane di Marcarolo National Park and its mountains. There are beautiful walks all around and tracks suitable for cycling. Swimming and horse riding are nearby.
To the front of the cottage there is parking for 2 cars and to the rear a courtyard with flower beds and garden furniture.
