The nearby town of Rostrenen has supermarkets, a weekly market and several restaurants to meet every day needs. There are lovely walks in the surrounding countryside; the nearby Nantes/Brest Canal provides opportunities for cycling, fishing, canoeing and more. The Lac de Guerleden is a short drive, has two beaches and a good range of watersports. There are many opportunities to find out about the history of the region including museums, galleries and Chateaux and gardens open to the public. The Abbaye de Bon Repos has been the subject of a renovation project over the last several years, provides a rich tapestry of experiences from the past and each summer holds a spectacular Son et Lumiere. Well behaved pets are welcome.
