Description inside property: Woodview cottage is a lovely restored detached stone cottage, set in its own grounds within a peaceful rural setting. Situated in the small hamlet of Le Moustoir. The cottage retains a lot of original charm, wooden beams and exposed stone, the lounge has a typical Breton fireplace with log burning stove, a dining arera for up to six people, a highchair if needed. For your entertainment there is a television with DVD player, Video recorder, also CD player. The kitchen is fully fitted with gas cooker, micro-wave, fridge, toaster, health grill etc, also on the ground floor is a fully tiled shower room and toilet. There are two bedrooms, each having their own stair case, A double bedroom above kitchen with double bed, dressing table, bedside tables with lamps, a chest of drawers, a chaise longue, a full length mirror, and hair dryer. The second bedroom is over the lounge, with double bed, plus two single beds, and a cot if needed.There are bedside tables and lamps either side of the double bed, a dressing table between the single beds with lamps, a chest of drawers, and a full length mirror. The cottage is set in its own grounds, with large well kept garden, and driveway for three cars,Outside the cottage is a full length patio of small light coloured stones edged in by paving slabs, attached to the cottage is the original stone bread oven. There is a seperate barbecue area with a chimney type barbecue fuelled by charcoal or wood.There is a patio table and chairs with parasol and a bench table.

Description of local area and activities: The location of Woodview cottage is Superb ideal for that relaxing holiday or a good base to view the local area.
A short drive from the cottage is the beautiful beach at Les Trevet with its golden sands and rugged coast line. Pleyben A ten minute drive from the cottage will take you to to the lovely village of Pleyben with its Beautiful Church, Bars and Restaurants. Quimper A 30mins drive from the cottage and you can be in the charming town of Quimper(Kamper) with its magnificent Cathedral lots of shops, bars and restaurants adorn the cobbled streets. Pont Aven One of the prettiest villiges in Finistere with its Artists and galleries aplenty, a water mill, plenty of bars and restaurants, the river running through the centre of the village, well worth seeking out and having a look. Huelgoat If its walks and scenery you are after then Huelgoat (Elgwat) is perfect with its forest walks along the river the huge stones that just seem to have been dropped there. Huelgoat is a truely mystical place, and its only a 20 mins drive from the cottage. Chateaulin The bustling town of Chateaulin is a 25 mins journey but is a lovely town to visit with its bars and restaurants the river running through the middle of the town. It is also the main area for Salmon fishing. Mont St Michelle Just situated on the outskirts of Brasparts is the Mont St Michelle drive up the winding road and you will arrive almost at the top, park the car , walk up the steps to the top and you will have a breath taking view of the area, also on the top is a Church over 200 years old. Lake Du Drennec A 20mins drive to St Cadou and you can spend a lovely relaxing day at lac Du Drennec with its man made beach. You can walk the perimiter if you want (aprox 4 miles) or you can sun bathe on the grass or beach or swim in the lake. there is a Creperie so you can have a meal or drink if you wish. |
